A lot of dogs end up in rescue not because they're bad dogs โ but because they've got behaviour issues that their previous owners couldn't manage. Reactivity, pulling, jumping, fear. Things that are very fixable with the right training but that make adoption harder.
Cathy and Andrea work with local rescue organisations to give some of these dogs a proper chance. They donate training time to help them become more adoptable โ better manners, more confidence, fewer triggers.
It's not a large program and she doesn't take every case. But it's a genuine part of what she does, alongside the paying work.
They are selective about which dogs they take on for charity placements โ they can't do everything. But if you're a rescue with a dog that genuinely needs training to be placed, it's worth getting in touch.
